We have a fully qualified and experienced Diabetes, Asthma and COPD nurse who attends the surgery once week to see all patients with long term diseases and to carry out reviews and offer advice.

Our practice manager is responsible for the organisational and administrative running of the practice. She is available and would be pleased to receive any comments, compliments or complaints concerning any aspect of patient’s services.
The receptionists will arrange an appointment for you to see her.
The prescription clerk will assist in the preparation of repeat prescription and deal with patient enquiries in relation to your medication;
The Prescription Clerk duties are;

The reception staff will deal with queries in a professional and courteous way and will assist all patients and the general public with all general enquiries and be able to direct patients and the general public in the right direction.
The reception staffs will also be;
The secretary deals with doctor’s and outside agencies correspondences, liaising with other health care professionals and also professionals from various backgrounds, i.e. lawyers, solicitors, cold callers etc.
Sue is able to refer patients to relevant services on the direction and dictation from the doctor or a member from secondary care.
Secretary duties also include;
The practice midwife can help with all aspects of pregnancy and the post-natal period. The midwife runs an antenatal clinic once a week at the surgery and all appointments are pre-booked.
If you are pregnant you should inform the surgery as soon as possible so midwifery care can be arranged. You can contact the midwife ringing the surgery, and a member of staff will give you the midwife contact number or the labour ward at Kettering General Hospital, Maternity Unit, alternatively you can leave a message and the midwife will pick up the messages once weekly.
Patients who are housebound or discharged from hospital and require nursing care are looked after by our District Nursing Team. Should you require this service your doctor or discharging consultant will arrange for district nursing care, you cannot refer yourself for this service.
Our health visitors can counsel and advise on all aspects of healthcare to all age groups, but particularly to families with young children. The Health visiting can be contacted at Isebrook Hospital on 01933 440099 Monday – Friday.
We have a fully qualified and experienced counsellor who attends the surgery once every other week. If you feel you would benefit from this service, please discuss with your doctor.
